Hong Kong Kowloon West High-speed Railway project is the Hong Kong section of the Guangzhou-Shenzhen-Hong Kong Express Rail Link. The part undertaken by Easyway Innovation is 852 Project which includes the development of three major systems, namely ticketing system, passenger service system, and disaster recovery system. Easyway Innovation is responsible for all the designing, development, manufacture, testing, transportation, implementation delivery, training, system debug, and the maintenance and defect correction during trial operation. Contract cost is close to 300 million Hong Kong dollars.
The Hong Kong ticketing system is an integrated ticketing and checking service system which establishes a wide range of sales channels (including internet ticketing, agency ticketing, window ticketing, phone ticketing, station ticketing and vehicle-mounted mobile terminal fare adjustment ticketing, etc.), supports multiple currencies (RMB, HKD) and multiple languages (English, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese), and adapts to a variety of ticketing and checking ways and payment modes (cash, credit card, Octopus card, etc.) based on the requirements of the local market in Hong Kong and focused on passenger service, combining electronic means of payment, modern information technology and advanced reasonable system architecture.
